The Pharmacy Technician program trains students in pharmacology, pharmacy business, medication preparation, insurance & billing processing, patient relations, reading physician's orders & hospital charts, inventory tracking & maintenance and medical records and accuracy.

This program will provide the student with the education, training and skills necessary to assume entry-level employment as Pharmacy Technicians positions in today's ever growing pharmaceutical environment. Pharmacy Technician graduates may obtain positions in pharmaceutical companies, retail pharmacies, hospitals, mail order pharmaceutical processing centers and other out patient facilities.
