Pastry Arts graduates can be found in all sectors of the foodservice industry: from fine restaurants and specialty bakeries to large-scale baked goods manufacturers and grocery stores. Pastry Chefs may be responsible for creating a menu of desserts for a restaurant, baking pies and cakes for a neighborhood bakery, or producing large volumes of pastries or baked goods for grocery stores. Pastry Arts is a good career for artistic and expressive individuals who enjoy creating food that looks as good as it tastes.
