If you like the idea of helping people in a health care setting but are not comfortable assisting with examinations or medical procedures, then maybe Medical Billing and Coding is for you. This is one of the few health occupations in which there is little or no direct contact with patients - however, accuracy is essential. At YTI Career Institute, students learn and practice billing and coding rules and regulations using real-world cases taken from across a broad spectrum of health care specialists to provide industry-modeled training. In just 12 months, graduates will be prepared with the knowledge and skills to succeed as a medical biller, medical coder or medical receptionist!

Degree Authority

YTI has approval by the Division of Academic Programs, Pennsylvania Department of Education, to award the Associate in Specialized Technology Degree and the Associate in Specialized Business Degree.
