Medical Assistants perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep physician or health care offices and clinics running smoothly. As a caring, dedicated member of a medical team, the Medical Assistant handles duties such as scheduling appointments, patient billing, health insurance coding, taking vital signs, assisting with patient examinations, collecting laboratory specimens and much more. At YTI, you can get training that is results oriented and you can put your skills to work during a three month externship.
