The culinary arts industry in the United States is growing at an unprecedented pace. Total food service is expected to increase 27% by the year 2000, according to the US Department of Labor. Graduates will be prepared to assume entry-level positions as prep cooks, line cooks, assistant food service managers, and assistant restaurant managers. Graduates of the Culinary Arts/Restaurant Management program will earn an Associate in Specialized Business Degree.
