Founded in 1922, WVJC is located in Morgantown, WV, just a minute's walk from the West Virginia University campus. We are a small college in a large university community!

Our goal is to provide you with the skills you need to begin your career in a short period of time. Through career-focused classes and hands-on training, you can earn an associate degree in months not years. Graduate/Employer Satisfaction: Graduates are eligible, at no cost, to receive brush-up training necessary to upgrade skills as needed.

Along with academic credentials and certifications, our faculty brings industry knowledge to the classroom, helping students understand both theory and real-world experiences.

Financial aid through grants, loans, and work study are available to those who qualify. Scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors. A WVJC representative will work with you to explain all that you need to do to apply for financial aid. At the end of the meeting, you'll walk away with a personalized financial aid package.

Also, the fact that you will graduate and start working within a relatively short period of time means that while others are in school and paying for an education, you'll be in your career earning money.

WVJC is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) and award diplomas and associate in specialized business degrees. The school is also approved for the training of veterans.

After completing your education at WVJC comes the next big step.....Job Placement. Finding a job is a joint effort incorporating the graduate, the instructors, career services and the employer.

We have a Career Services Professional to assist with the various aspects of the job search, including functioning as a liaison between employers and graduates.
