Accounting - AAS
The Accounting program is designed for students interested in entering the business world as specialists in bookkeeping and accounting procedures. The program’s purpose is to provide an accounting curriculum for those students whose primary interests lie in the area of accounting, but who do not plan to become a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to technical courses in computer applications, the degree program emphasizes communication and management skills. The Accounting program provides the student with a broad-based degree. It enables the graduate to be competitive at the time of his/her job search. The Accounting program provides selected specializations that allow students to focus on more specific applications as they may relate to the student’s career interest.
