You can become an Industrial Control Technician by earning your Associate Degree in Industrial Control Technology from Vatterott College. This program can allow you to develop expert skills with air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and pneumatic systems, and programmable logic controllers.
You will begin the program by learning electrical principles related to heating and air conditioning. You can then familiarize yourself with the theories, installation, and troubleshooting techniques for a variety of refrigeration, air conditioning, and heating systems. You will also learn how to create and size sheet metal ducts. You can then become familiar with Allen-Bradley and GE/Fanuc programmable logic controllers. You can graduate well prepared for a career in industrial control technology!
