You will start by learning basic electrical theory, wiring techniques, and National Electric Code. You will explore the areas of special circuits and devices, including light fixtures, voltage drop calculations, and AC circuits. You can develop technique in wiring smart houses, residences, swimming pools, and more.
The Electrical Mechanic program also introduces you to various branch circuits, including appliance, motor, emergency systems, and heating and air conditioning. You will learn how to install three-phase AC motors, motor control circuits, and motor control devices.
