Computer Aided Drafting Technology - Joplin
Program offered is an Associate.
You can become a Draftsperson with knowledge of CAD programming by taking the Drafting Diploma or Computer-Aided Drafting Technology Degree program at Vatterott College. Both programs will start out by teaching you drafting fundamentals and AutoCAD software. This will help you to create the following types of drawings:
- Mechanical
- Civil
- Residential
- Commercial
- Structural
The degree can grant you more extensive CAD knowledge. You can learn about AutoLISP programming language. You will be shown how to prepare 3D animation projects using 3D Studio VIZ. The degree program will also address how to integrate MS Word, Excel, and Access with AutoCAD.
Whether you choose the diploma or degree, you can gain certifications in AutoCAD 2000 and AutoCAD 2002. This can prepare you for a drafting career you may have thought would never be within your reach!
