Our associate degree in Combination Welding Technology program will teach students how to build everything from skyscrapers to submarines? maybe even satellite launch pads. Practical applications of welding, namely, oxyacetylene, metallic arc, tungsten inert gas (TIG), and metal inert gas (MIG) are included in the program. Classroom instruction also includes welding theory and how to read blueprints to complete the jobs. Graduates should be qualified as entry-level welders and fabricators who work in general fabrication, shipbuilding, pipeline welding, and the aircraft industry.
