Teaching English can bring you many adventures within Canada and abroad. Vancouver Career College has a three-month program that will arm you with the work experience and practical knowledge to teach English to foreign students. During the Teaching English as a Second Language program, you will study lesson planning and examine different teaching techniques, including games and other interactive activities. The TESL program (also known as TESOL or TEFL) also requires a 30-hour supervised practicum with 10-hours of teaching. Graduates will receive a Teaching English as a Second Language diploma and are eligible for TESL Canada Professional Certificate Standard Two. Once you have the TESL diploma under your belt, you can explore the far corners of the world and get paid along the way. This program is recognized by TESL Canada.
