Accounting & Payroll Administrator

Accounting and Payroll Administrator (APA)

The Accounting and Payroll Administrator Diploma Program equips you with the tools necessary to meet the demands of the current job market. The aim of this program is to provide you with a combination of computer and office administration skills and a practical foundation in accounting, computerized accounting systems and payroll.

Accountants and auditors help to ensure that the Nation's firms are run more efficiently, its public records kept more accurately, and its taxes paid properly and on time.

Students are prepared to enter the employment market upon graduation after a 5-week practicum giving them on the job experience. Industry is clear about the kind of training they want and we have paid close attention to their needs in developing this program.

Students in our Accounting and Payroll Administrator program gain a competitive edge by participating in the Payroll Management Certificate Program (PMCP) offered through the Canadian Payroll Association (CPA). Students take the CPA Core Payroll Courses: Introduction to Payroll and Intermediate Payroll and are prepared for examination and certification to PMCP Level II: Payroll Supervisor.

Program offered is a Diploma.
