Are you looking for a career with strong prospects? Nurses enjoy not only a solid pay check, but the satisfaction of helping people every day. UMA offers an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) that can prepare you to practice professional nursing in less than two years. Students get the knowledge, clinical skills, nursing values and experience required to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Upon becoming licensed, graduates will be prepared to work in hospitals, doctors' offices, residential care facilities, home healthcare services and other healthcare settings.
