Our curriculum combines practice and theory to deliver a comprehensive education that's also relevant to the current marketplace. he concepts and ideas that make filmmaking such an exciting, innovative medium, and you'll operate the cameras, lights, and editing equipment that professionals are using to create films today. At CDIA, you'll be taught by working professionals, who bring their real-world experience to the classroom, creating a bridge between the craft of filmmaking and the latest tools and techniques. You'll learn about the practical realities of building and sustaining a film career, and you'll make valuable contacts, while you build your demo reel. Many of the classes at CDIA are project-based, giving you a chance to try out your new skills and gain a realistic perspective on how great filmmaking happens. And because learning doesn't stop at the classroom door, CDIA students may take part in a four-week Production Practicum, creating a film for a real-world client under the direction of a professional filmmaker.
