There are three types of aid you may be eligible for, including:

  1. Federal Aid - The U.S. government offers aid, such as loans and grants, for students who qualify.

  2. Gift Aid - Grants, scholarships, and other benefits are often based on a combination of criteria and do not have to be repaid. Grants are primarily for students in financial need, while scholarships are awarded based on criteria such as academic performance and affiliations.

  3. Private Loans - Several types of loans are available to students and their parents (if applicable) through the government and private lending institutions. Requirements vary, and all loans must be repaid.
