You can see even a designer's simplest sketch in three dimensions. With computer-aided design drafting, you’ll create the plans and technical drawings that turn imagination into an object you can touch. From aircraft to office buildings, and toys to cabinetry, drafters provide the visual guidelines for every product we buy.

You can earn a Certificate in Drafting or an Associate of Applied Science degree in this field. You’ll be prepared to:

• Create electronic drawings that can be programmed into automated manufacturing systems
• Develop structural blueprints and site plans for commercial buildings or private homes
• Use traditional drafting techniques for a wide range of applications

At the Sullivan College of Technology & Design you’ll train on the CADD software that professionals use, in small class settings customized for your needs. You can take advantage of a variety of financial aid, and get assistance choosing what program is right for you.
