The purpose of the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Medical Administrative Management program is to prepare graduates to be multi-skilled health professionals who perform administrative, clinical, and management duties in a physician's office, clinic or other type of health care facility. Students are trained first and foremost as medical assistants with additional emphasis on management skills.

They may manage both routine and emergency situations, along with overseeing the staff and facilities.Course work in office and human resource management will aid in professional growth and ability to assume a leadership role.
