Aviation — AAS (Flight Program)

People who make the choice to fly for a living are a unique group because many have dreamed of flying since their youth and are actually living their dream! Professional pilots are also a breed apart because they pursue a dream that requires much commitment and sacrifice. Whether you have dreamed of flying since your youth, or you have just begun to have an interest in flight aviation, Spartan offers a flight program designed to help you reach your specific career flight goals!

You can gain the knowledge and skills required in a pilot flight training program of your choice:

  • Airline industry

Spartan's flight school is located on a tower-controlled airport with dual runways. The flight school also maintains a fleet of approximately fifty aircraft including Cessna 152s, 172s, and 172 RGs for advanced complex pilot training and Piper Seminoles for multi-engine pilot training. Three Frasca flight training simulators are used in flight training as well.

No pilot or flight training experience is required! Spartan can take you from your first day in an airplane to reaching your goals in the flight industry. Spartan is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). Most programs are approved by the Oklahoma State Agency for Veterans (GI Bill). The Aviation Maintenance Technician Programs and Flight Programs are approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Licensed by OBPVS. Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology trains for careers in piloting, aircraft mechanics, aircraft maintenance, instrument and electronics technology and quality control testing.
