Our mission is to prepare graduates with the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential to performing the duties that are required in a pharmacy environment. At SCI, students enrolled in the pharmacy technician program are taught keyboarding skills, computer applications, office procedures, business communication skills, job readiness techniques, personal development skills, basic pharmacology skills, and pharmacy operations and procedures.

Graduates may look forward to positions in environments such as retail/hospital pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, nursing homes, the military, US governmental agencies, and/or other pharmacy related environments.

*All pharmacy technician applicants will be required to pass a criminal background check, which will include fingerprints, and may be subject to a drug test as a condition of employment. No applicant with a felony record will be accepted into the pharmacy technician program at SCI.
