Criminal Justice
This program is a combination of General Education
classes complemented with a criminal justice core. It is designed
to permit graduates to transfer to four-year institutions
where they may pursue a Bachelor's degree. The advanced degree
enables students to seek upper level management positions
in many local, state and federal agencies.
The Criminal Justice Program is designed
to prepare the student for career positions in several areas
of the administration of justice. Program graduates have been
employed with local police departments, sheriff's offices,
the state highway patrol, federal/state narcotics agencies,
correctional institutions and the state and local probation
& parole agencies.
This program is also designed to permit graduates
to transfer to four-year institutions where they may pursue
advanced academic preparation to enable them to seek top level
management positions in many local, state and federal agencies.
Students may begin the program with any semester.
The Associate of Science Degree is awarded upon successful
completion of program requirements.
