Medical Assisting
The Medical Assisting program, Sanz School's
most comprehensive program, is the first step to a secure
future. If you are ready for this challenge and qualify, this
opportunity is for you. The demand for medical assistants
has never been greater and the prospect for the future may
never be brighter.
Sanz School's Medical Assisting program
provides students with the entry-level skills necessary to
assist medical professionals in procedures normally performed
in a physician's office or clinic. The program includes an
introduction to human anatomy, body metabolism, hematology,
pharmacology, and human reproduction.
The title Medical Assistant refers to many
different medical office professionals ranging from Medical
Transcriptionists and Phlebotomists to, Appointment Schedulers,
Billing Clerks, and Examination Assistants. Sometimes several
Medical Assistants are responsible for different tasks, or
a single specialized one.
