As a RMCAD student in any major, you'll be provided with two things we view as vital to your success: a strong core of Liberal and Foundation Studies courses; and a faculty composed of working artists and designers from the top of their chosen field. Succeeding in the fast-growing and exciting world of game art takes more than simply being an avid gamer. It requires the strong artistic skills and advanced technological know-how you'll get in the Game Art Department. You'll learn the aspects of building an engaging game including scriptwriting, 3D modeling, and character generation. Then you'll push your sills further with classes in lighting, texture, level design, and character rigging. By the time you graduate with your BFA, you'll have the experience and portfolio necessary to succeed in the competitive gaming world.
