About Redstone College
Alta's Redstone College (Redstone) was founded in 1965 to offer Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) training and then expanded in 1989 to include Avionics training. In 2005 the curriculum was expanded further to include Heating/Ventilation/Air Conditioning/Refrigeration and then in 2006, the Construction Management degree program was added as part of the Redstone College educational offerings. With campuses in Los Angeles and Denver, Redstone graduates are recruited by some of the nation's top aviation employers. In fact, Redstone is the nation's largest provider of newly licensed A&P Mechanics. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) statistics indicate more newly licensed FAA Airframe and Powerplant mechanics have graduated from Redstone than any other school.
