Associate - Airframe and Powerplant
Redstone College is the school for you if you are interested in taking an airframe and powerplant license course. Redstone offers airframe and powerplant training that can get you started towards a career in aviation mechanics. This dynamic field requires hands-on training and practice, and Redstone believes that applied learning is a key part of the curriculum.

Once tuition is paid students receive an extensive tool kit. These tools are put to good use in our lab/shop and ramp areas that have several aircraft for hands-on airframe and powerplant training. Redstone has operational reciprocating engines and turbine engine run stands, all for you to take apart, inspect and reassemble. This work can help prepare you for the world of aviation mechanics.
Redstone programs help you prepare for the FAA certification exams so you can become certified in aviation mechanics. The exam fee is even covered in your tuition (first time only).
