Pharmacy Technician AS Degree
Pharmacy technicians help pharmacists provide drugs and other health care products to patients.
Graduates from pharmacy technician schools learn theory and practical applications of pharmacy practice. A pharmacy technician is able to apply knowledge to retail and hospital pharmacy settings.
Through our Pharmacy Technician training, we prepare our students to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE), in order to help them become Certified Pharmacy Technicians (CPhT). Employers know that individuals who pass this voluntary exam have a standardized body of knowledge and skills. Many employers also will reimburse the costs of the exam as an incentive for certification.
