The Automotive Technology Program at Porter and Chester Institute thoroughly prepares you for a career in automobile service and repair.

Upon graduation, you'll be well prepared to start an automotive service technician career in Connecticut or Massachusetts. You'll also be qualified to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) tests and become a certified ASE technician in New England.

While taking our Automotive Repair program, you'll work on real cars gathered from the public, with real problems that need repair. As a result, you graduate as an experienced technician and can justify a competitive compensation rate. Some of our best graduates get jobs that enable them to start off on a "flat rate" pay basis.
