Program offered is an Associate.
Medical Assistant graduates are invaluable resources to physicians and other healthcare providers. They provide both administrative and clinical duties, often assisting directly with patient care.
Our Medical Assisting program prepares graduates for an entry-level position in a physician's office or medical clinic. Students learn not only in the classroom, but also in a lab that simulates, as realistically as possible, the typical facilities, equipment, and records found in a physician's office, including microscopes, EKG machines, exam tables and medical instruments.
The last 180 hours of a student's program is reserved for working and learning at an externship site. Here, under supervision, students have the opportunity to experience firsthand their future working environment.
