Tuition and Financing
The high school programs will be set-up so that a student receives a tuition credit at the time of enrollment instead of having to wait for a transcript evaluation and then receive a credit post-enrollment.
Transfer Credits
Receive a $250 tuition credit for each year of High School you've completed. To receive transfer credits, an official transcript from an accredited institution recognized by Penn Foster must be submitted for evaluation. Transfer credits will be awarded for comparable High School subjects where a full credit has been earned. Since High School programs vary, only an evaluation by Penn Foster will determine the actual number of transfer credits to be awarded. The maximum number of transfer credits allowed is 16.
Financial Aid
Penn Foster takes financial aid a step further. If you meet the requirements to be a Penn Foster student, you automatically qualify for tuition financing directly from us. The Penn Foster alternative has: Low Tuition; 0% APR Financing; and Affordable monthly payments that are complete by the time you graduate.
Tuition Reimbursement
All Penn Foster programs are affiliated with DANTES, which qualifies U.S. military personnel for tuition reimbursement.
Military Education Benefits
Many Penn Foster programs are approved for U.S. Armed Forces veterans education benefits. Reservists may also qualify for veterans education benefits. Check your local or regional VA office for eligibility requirements. Click here for more information.
Monthly Payments
Your first monthly payment will be due 30 days or more after your enrollment is accepted. Other payments will be due on the same day of the month as your first payment. A payment coupon booklet will be shipped to you. Under law, you have the right to pay off the full amount due in advance.
Payment Methods
Penn Foster accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We also accept checks, money orders, and authorized automatic withdrawals from checking and savings accounts from U.S. banks.
