The Medical Assisting graduate will be able to assist health professionals to conduct examinations, perform medical and clinical procedures, practice safe procedures for infection control and demonstrate competency using medical equipment and supplies.

• OVCT's Medical Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs, on recommendation of the Curriculum Review Board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE).
