| Mobility Program, A.S.N.
This program is designed to prepare qualified, caring and compassionate practical and registered nurses who demonstrate competence in providing quality care across the life-span. After the first year, you will receive a practical nursing diploma, and can request to test for licensure as a practical nurse. If you desire to do so, you may work for a year or longer as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and when timing is appropriate for you, return to the nursing program continuing your education to attain an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) and be qualified for licensure as a Registered Nurse. However, if you wish to proceed without a break, you may elect to do so. For acceptance consideration, you must submit an application for each year of the ASN Mobility Program. |
