The goal of the Dental Assisting program is to prepare graduates for entry-level positions in the dental health field. The program emphasizes the knowledge and skills needed in the four-handed approach to the practice of dentistry. Students receive hands-on-training in chair-side dental assisting procedures as well as dental specialties; expanding functions, exposing processing, and reading radiographs; dental charting, patient preparation, and front office administrative duties.
Please Note: Program availability varies by campus. Bachelor degree programs are offered only at the Wilmington campus. HVAC, Electrical, and Welding programs are offered only at the Nashville campus.
