Graphic Design
 

The Graphic Design Associate of Applied Science program is designed to prepare students for entry into the dynamic graphic design industry. Students will learn to design for print, web and interactive multimedia while learning current industry software and the technical and design skills necessary to be a successful Graphic Designer. The program will provide fundamental coverage of the skills necessary for career enhancement and personal and professional growth.

Students will also develop an understanding of the unique challenges of the industry and develop an extensive portfolio of print, web and multimedia projects. A design capstone class will be completed toward the end of the program and will give students the opportunity to design a real-world media based project to simulate working in a media based design studio.

Upon completion of the program, students will be prepared for entry-level positions in the Graphic Design industry.

Program offered is an Associate Degree.
