The objective of this program is to prepare the graduate for employment as a CADD Drafter/Designer specializing in the Mechanical Drafting field.

From basic instruction through advanced mechanical design drafting, a student will develop skills to enable him/her to successfully produce both manual and computer assisted production drawings. Emphasis is on drafting concepts, mechanical details and assembly production drawings, and computerization techniques (AutoCAD) of these drawings.

Upon completion of the program, students receive an Associate of Occupational Studies in Computer Aided Drafting and Design: Mechanical
