International Academy of Design and Technology's Fashion Design program is an intensive, two-year course of study aimed at preparing graduates for a career in the design, creation, and marketing of fashion.
In the first year, students are introduced to the development and construction of apparel, the fundamentals of design, and the sourcing and use of textiles.
The second year the program combines these hands-on skills with a variety of creative design projects.
At this time, students will also be introduced to the commercial side of the fashion design world, as well as to industry-standard computer applications and the knitting machine.
Program graduates can enter the job market with a professional portfolio that can include apparel for men, women and children, as well as accessories.
