Program offered is a Bachelor.
Providing quality baccalaureate nursing education is the goal of Indiana State University's College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services. To accomplish this goal and respond to the educational needs of practicing registered nurses, the nursing faculty developed the Baccalaureate Track for Registered Nurses.
The track offers registered nurses an alternative curriculum through which they can earn the baccalaureate degree. The program consists of 36 credit hours in the nursing major. In addition to the course work required in the nursing major, you must also complete the University's General Education Program.
An unique feature of the track is the opportunity to earn up to 10 hours of credit through professional portfolio evaluation. The portfolio evaluation option provides the experienced nurse the opportunity to demonstrate successful attainment of specific objectives and earn either full or partial credit for selected nursing courses in the Baccalaureate Track for Registered Nurses.
