The Indiana State University Foundation was incorporated in 1928 to provide financial, physical and administrative support. Since that time, the Foundation has provided scholarships to many students, funded research, and served the University in a myriad of ways.

Our mission is to educate and assist ISU students and graduates throughout all phases of their career development, preparing them to meet the challenges of a competitive work environment, and forge dynamic relationships with employers and other relevant constituencies.

Indiana State University Online is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association.

Students frequently need help in: Choosing a major, Researching career options, Making plans to continue their education.Career Planning introduces a variety of resources designed to assist in areas of self-assessment and career exploration. Interests, values, and abilities are identified and utilized in determining a preferred career direction.

Those interested in learning more about the career planning process should contact the Career Center to arrange an appointment with a career professional.Career and Life Planning (Counseling 135) is a three-credit course that deals with the steps and issues involved in making informed career choices. This class is offered by the Counseling Department in the College of Education.
