As technology continues to change the modern workplace, the role of today's office professional will continue to evolve.

Office professionals need to excel in written and oral communication, interpersonal proficiency, organizational and management ability, accounting, computer, and general business knowledge.

In our business program you will obtain a solid foundation in the human and organizational aspects of management, a broad background in business administration, and a good understanding of accounting. You will be prepared to apply supervisory knowledge and skills in a variety of challenging situations in the business world. The accounting portion of the program is designed to permit dual entry-level employment options into either computer or accounting fields. The program provides a background in accounting concepts, general business procedures, with an emphasis on application software packages in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and financial software.

An externship allows students to use hands-on skills learned in the classroom in the workplace.
