Program offered is a Bachelor.

This program provides a strong foundation in business management and human resources skill sets highly valued in today's competitive employment market.  Human Resources courses will cover such topics as recruiting, compensation and benefits, training and development, labor relations, employee relations, and development of organizational policy and procedures. The program seeks to develop critical thinking, data analysis and problem-solving knowledge and skills.  Additionally, students will gain an understanding of professional ethics and its application to the business environment.  Participation in classroom activities and student organizations will foster teamwork and leadership development skills.   Course work is aligned with the Society for Human Resource Management standard competencies to assist graduates in acquiring the foundational knowledge to sit for the PHR certification examination following two years of practical experience in the industry.

Students who have completed the Human Resources AAS degree are invited to further enhance their knowledge and skills in order to seek managerial level positions within the Human Resources industry.
