Mission and Objectives
The Harris School of Business dedicates itself to providing our students with quality post-secondary training so that they may have the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain administrative support positions leading to a successful career in the business and/or professional world.
Admissions
The standard requirement for admission is a high school diploma or its equivalent, a GED certificate. Other considerations for acceptance are the applicant's ability to successfully complete a curriculum within the allotted time frame, as well as the appropriateness of the program in preparing an applicant for his or her stated career goal.
Prior Learning Credit
Harris School of Business is committed to helping its students complete their training objective without needless repetition of previously learned skills obtained through on-the-job training or prior education. For that reason, our institution considers the time spent with prospective students in the admissions interview to be very important in selecting the appropriate program for their needs.
Incoming students with advanced skills or prior education may be eligible to waive some courses toward a diploma at this institution. If you have advanced skills and believe you may be a candidate for Prior Learning Credit, inform the Admissions Representative. It would be helpful if you can bring your most recent resume or transcript from a previous institution to the admissions interview.
