Medical Assistant
The objective of the Medical Assistant program is to prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills and work habits required for an entry-level position in the medical field. Students in the program are required to submit evidence of good health by having a physical exam including a TB test, up-to-date immunizations and screening for Hepatitis.
Students in the program must follow a prescribed dress code. This program concentrates on helping students acquire knowledge and develop skills in performing laboratory, clinical and medical office procedures. The program provides students with a broader education that helps develop advanced technical and communication skills.
This program is represented to lead to multiple job opportunities and is not meant to lead to any particular outcome, including that specified in the program title. Although the College will assist the student with job placement, finding a job is the ultimate responsibility of the student. The College does not guarantee that any student will be placed in any particular job, or at all.
