The Aviation Technology program includes the study of diverse fields such as hydraulics, aircraft fuel systems, avionics, and more. The training contains a carefully balanced mix of classroom and hands-on training following FAA required curriculum.

Students learn to use the special tools and techniques required to become proficient in the maintenance of aircraft. Upon completion, graduates will have mastered the complex skills required of a trusted specialist in this field.

History :
Hallmark Institute was founded in 1969 as Hallmark-Aero Tech. Richard H. Fessler, co-founder, began the school with the primary purpose of serving students, industry, and the community.

Career Opportunities :
Airframe and Powerplant Technicians are needed to keep aircraft in peak operating condition. They perform scheduled maintenance, make repairs and complete inspections required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Airframe and Powerplant Technicians are authorized to work on all parts of the aircraft, except the instruments. Having both ratings qualifies an individual to work on any aspect of any aircraft made anywhere in the world!
