In response to society's growing need for value-based, visionary leadership, Gonzaga University's Master's Program in Organizational Leadership was established in 1986. Since then over 400 graduates have recognized the benefits of integrating a holistic liberal arts education with an in-depth, practical and theoretical study of organizations and leadership. Our degree is no exception.
The Online Master's of Organizational Leadership program affirms the University mission of providing a humanistic, Jesuit education. As humanistic, we recognize the essential role of human creativity, intelligence and initiative in the formation of leaders. Through intellectual inquiry of the past and enlightened awareness of the present, Gonzaga graduate students and faculty are committed to the betterment of self and society.
The central objective of this distance learning Organizational Leadership program is to provide an advanced degree which synthesizes knowledge from diverse fields into a focused yet flexible plan of study that is useful to leadership in all forms of social organization. The online degree program is designed for the student whose professional goal is a generalist leadership position in corporate, government, not-for-profit, or community organizations.

Gonzaga was founded in 1887, and enrolls about 5,400 students in 92 undergraduate and 21 graduate programs. The Gonzaga School of Law is one of three in the state of Washington. Located in Spokane, Wash., Gonzaga's campus is situated on 108 acres along the beautiful Spokane River, within a 10-minute walk of downtown Spokane. Spokane enjoys a population of 190,000 within city limits, and more than 400,000 in the greater Spokane area.
Gonzaga is named after a young 16th century Italian Jesuit, Aloysius Gonzaga, who died in Rome trying to save young people from the plague. He was later named the patron saint of youth.
