Vocational Nurses provide care to people who are sick, injured, convalescent or disabled. They work under the supervision of physicians and/or registered nurses. They often provide bedside care, monitor vital signs, prepare medications and give injections. They also monitor and clean medical equipment, collect samples and perform routine lab tests along with other functions. As a graduate of the GCC Vocational Nursing program, you will be prepared to become a vital provider of patient care.
