 Paralegal/Legal
Assistant
This program is designed for prospective students who wish
to seek immediate employment in the legal field. It will also
assist individuals already employed in the legal profession
desiring advancement. Graduates will possess the skills needed
for employment as a paralegal/legal assistant. A Legal/Paralegal
assistant supports attorneys with legal research, drafts documents
and motions that are filed in court, interviews clients and
witnesses, manages cases, and is involved in the gathering
of evidence and the litigation procedure. They are also involved
in trial assistance and other dispute resolution processes,
as well as with the preparation of real estate documents,
probate, contracts, corporate matters and law office investigation.
FNC awards an Associate of Science degree upon graduation.
