The objective of the Skin Care Specialist program is to provide foundational knowledge of technical and theoretical concepts in areas of skin care. The program is designed to prepare students to pursue entry-level employment as Skin Care Specialists in different settings including salons or spas in hotels, resorts, cruise lines, theater and film. The Skin Care Specialist program curriculum includes training to develop a wide range of skills including facials, facial massage, airbrush makeup, body wrapping, hair removal techniques, chemical peels, and micro-dermabrasion. The program will also include elements of business marketing and retail sales training. Students will write their own business plan and design their own product line
