The Early Childhood Assistant program provides training for anyone interested in working in childcare. The program consists of training in child development, program planning, communication skills, health and safety, and much more.

Students will learn about toddler development, role playing, observation approaches, encouraging children, dramatic play, plan development, child abuse, nutrition, CPR, first aid, and much more.

Students will also take a career and employment strategies course that will provide techniques on job interviewing, resume preparation, writing thank you letters, and job search management.
