A large part of the strategic management major will be to have real life experiences as well as role playing experience.  While in your courses you will learn how to see what factors will establish which types of strategies you should use while managing a business.  Also, you will learn how to analyze these decisions and create a protocol to make the company better and have an increase of income and growth.  Finally, you will learn how to deal with failure.  There are, understandably, times that businesses and strategies fail.  When you learn from other company's mistakes and understand their failures, you will then have an educated background on what works and what does not work.
