Our Massage Therapy program will prepare you with the skills necessary to work with clients to treat painful ailments, decompress tired and overworked muscles, reduce stress, rehabilitate sports injuries, and promote general health..
Dover Business College's program meets the requirements of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Graduates of Dover's Massage Therapy program are eligible to sit for the NCTBM exam and, if qualified, may earn the national credential, Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB). The NCTMB exam covers six areas of content: general knowledge of the body systems; detailed knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology; pathology; therapeutic massage assessment; therapeutic massage application; and professional standards, ethics, business, and legal practices. We provide you classroom instruction on state-of-the-art equipment. The program emphasizes:
- In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and myology

- Therapeutic massage assessment and application
- Ethical, legal, and business practices
- Wellness strategies.
As a graduate you will have a fully rounded understanding of competencies and techniques that will help you perform successfully in spas, hospitals, sports medicine facilities, fitness and recreations centers, offices of physicians and chiropractors, hotels, nursing homes, airports, shopping malls, and private settings.
