Colorado Technical University's Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a concentration in Human Resource Management is designed to prepare the aspiring human resource professional to participate as an integral member of an organization's management team. The complexities of today's legal environment, together with increased emphasis on customer service and competitiveness through effective personnel management, have dramatically affected the role and responsibilities of the human resource manager. Program curriculum is designed to develop insight into management structures and processes and to help build professional skills in communication, human resources and systems management.

The BSBA with a concentration in Human Resource Management is designed to provide a foundation so that those who wish to seek further professional certification, such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), can prepare for that certification process.
